Collax for Android

At first the screen contains a certain number of inactive dots. A inactive dot, is a small colored dot, that wanders the screen in certain direction and speed. By touching the screen, you then add your first active dot. A active dot does not move anymore, instead it swells in size until it reached a certain size, then it shrinks again and disappears. Every inactive dot touching a active dot becomes a active dot itself. This way a chain reaction starts and every dot you switched to an active state is added to your number of collected dots.

Your goal is to collect the required amount of dots, which is displayed on the upper left on the screen. If you have not collected enough dots, you have to try again. Once you have collected enough dots, the next level starts, which has more inactive dots but also requires you to collect more dots to pass the level.

Everlands Review For Android

Everlands is an odd game, even for the standards of Android Games. It involves placing different animals on a hexagon based battlefield to try to gain the numerical advantage. Its very much a strategy game, one gains depth with the number of different animals rather than placing the player into different scenarios.
As with most strategy games, particularly mobile strategy games, this is not a ground braking graphic heavy game. However the battlefield is well designed and clearly defined. All the animals are distinctive and designed specifically with ease of use in mind. The presentation of this game is top-notch, with the game using a map system for the levels and an explanation ready for all aspects of the game.
The game is controlled entirely through the touchscreen, giving the game a feel similar to a point and click adventure. This is designed to be used with only a single hand making it perfect for standing in a train and such. The game is responsive and given to easy design it has little chance of clicking on the wrong section.

Angty Birds For Android

What does it take to make an addictive game? Not much -- just throw in some super simple controls, cute graphics, and basic physics. Rovio Mobile's Angry Birds is one such game that includes all these elements, and today the studio's just released a public Android beta to cater those without an iOS, webOSor Maemo 5 device. In case you're not already familiar with the popular title, the backstory is that a gang of hungry pigs snatched away some eggs from the birds, forcing the feathered creatures to embark on a rescue mission for the sake of their survival. The gameplay on the Android version is just as simple as before: in each level you use a fixed slingshot to fling the birds -- one at a time -- into the forts, in order to kill all the pigs inside. As a secondary challenge, you must also attempt to get a three-star rating depending on the amount of structural material you destroy, so the key is to perfect your shooting angle.

Robot Defense HD

Avid Android strategists will know all about a little game called Robo Defense. While it’s a blatantFieldrunners clone, we still felt moved to forgive it for two very important reasons.

First, Android is just about the only platform on this earth that hasn’t seen a version of Subatomic Studios’s famed original. Second, as copies go,Robo Defense is really rather good.

Of course, despite its subtle twists on the Fieldrunners formula, Robo Defense isn’t exactly the best looking game on the Android Market – especially when viewed in the unforgiving glare of a newer device. Lupis Labs Software is looking to address that.

Robo Defense HD is in the works, promising to add graphics far more befitting the world’s leading smartphone platform. As you can see from the screenshot, it’s still not likely to win any awards for its looks, but the new HD lick of paint is certainly a big improvement.

You can download a limited beta version right now, if you’re quick. This free version presents just the one map with 11 difficulty levels, so it’s really just a taster meant for testing out handset compatibility ahead of the game’s release.

Why not give it a whirl?
